Roberto M. Gonzalez, 86 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on January 6, 2019.
He was born in Edinburgh, Texas on June 5, 1932.
Roberto married Juanita Gonzalez on September 19, 1955. He was the owner of Grannys Hot Tamales.
Roberto is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Gonzalez and son, Alberto Gonzalez.
Roberto is survived by his children; Robert Gonzalez, Jr., Martin Gonzalez, Rosemary Benavides (Daniel), Daniel Gonzalez (Tina), Anita Hernandez (Joe), Raynaldo Gonzalez, Rojelio Gonzalez (Maria), Jaime Gonzalez (Olga) and Jeannie Alameida (Edward). Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Rites of a Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
