Esteban "Steve" Campos Jr.
Robstown, TX
Esteban "Steve" Campos, Jr., 45, was welcomed home with open arms by our Heavenly Father on December 29, 2017. He was born in Robstown, Texas on November 21, 1972 to Esteban Campos, Sr. and Maria Del Rosario Peralez Campos. Steve was a Catholic, a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and of the Knights of Columbus #3110. Steve was also a volunteer for the Robstown Fire Department for many years. Steve loved to barbeque, participating at many BBQ cook-offs and was never hesitant to offer his time for friends or anyone in need. He never met a stranger and was the true meaning of a friend. Steve will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Joaquin Von Campos; his grandparents, Encarnacion and Andrea Campos and Jose and Jesusa Peralez.
He is survived by his parents, Esteban Campos, Sr. and Maria Del Rosario Campos; his children, Brian Campos and Marissa Abigail Campos; two sisters, Monica (Steve) Peralez-Duran and Jessica (Jason) Campos Rhodes. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Jo-Jo Olivarez, Xavier Olivarez, Samuel Duran, Daisy Duran, Alexus Marie Campos, Daphne Ryan and numerous other relatives and many friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, and Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
