I knew Bert for the last 15 years. I didn't see him as often as I would have liked but the times I had the pleasure of having a conversation with him, I truly enjoyed them. Debi, you and the kids will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Aside from going to the College together, Bert and I worked in the same building for a year and I lived in Orleans as well. I remember Bert for his insights and his friendship when I was there.

Was very sorry for the sad news of Bert. I worked with him for 3 years at Valcom and always enjoyed his smiling face and positive attitude towards life in general. He will be greatly missed by us all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Bert for six years in the scouting community. He was always the kind and concerned parent, friend and neighbour we all aspire to be. We will always remember him with fondness.

I have known Bertin since my early days at the College Militaire Royal and always knew him as a fierce competitor, a true professional and a genuinely good human being. As a former team mate from the college hockey team, neighbour from our days on Burgundy Lane and professional/business colleague, I can truly say that this is a sad loss for all of us.

On behalf of my family and myself, and on behalf of the Royal Military Colleges Alumni, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Tremblay family.

Working with Bert at Valcom was a pleasure for myself and everyone around him. Bert always had a smile on his face and was always there to help. It is a great loss to everyone that he has left us. Knowing that he is not in pain anymore makes it a little bit easier to handle. Bert will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Please know that you are in our thoughts in this difficult time.

Having worked with Bert at Valcom was truly a pleasure and a delight. I was saddened to hear of his illness but happy to know, at the time, that he still had that fighting spirit. Unfortunately the Cancer won the battle but Bert put up a brave fight. It has been a pleasure knowing Bert and I wish his entire family (especially Phillipe and Stephanie, who I know) all the strength that they deserve. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. God Bless.
