Agatha Waltz Cashman, 87, of Westminster, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at her home.
Born May 15, 1925, in Mount Airy, she was the daughter of the late John Waltz and Edna Lindsay Waltz. She was the wife of the late Vernon Edward Cashman, who died in 2006.
Before retiring she was a seamstress at English American. She was a member of St. Benjamin's (Kriders) Lutheran Church and the ELCA, charter member of Westminster Ridge.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law John Edward and Jill Bosley Cashman, of Westminster, Thomas Vernon and Carmen Pineda Cashman, of West Friendship; sisters Pearl Yingling, of Westminster, and Janice Morgret, of Hanover, Pa.; grandchildren Patrick Cashman, Toni Myers, Matthew and Stephanie Cashman, Maria and Jason Glover, Kari Snyder, Michael and Katie Cashman; great-grandchildren Jessica, Connor, Elijah, Liam, Garrison, Trey and Carrigan; and a great great-grandson Aden Walsh.
She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter Erin Myers; sisters Virginia Smith, Reba Halter, Ruth Smith and Brother William Waltz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benjamin's (Kriders) Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Schafer officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
