Anna M. Staub Zile, 84, of Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Carroll Lutheran Village.
Born Dec. 12, 1928, in New Oxford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Guy A. Staub and Annie M. Mummert Staub. She was the wife of the late Zoland Z. Zile Jr.
She was a licensed practical nurse for 30 years at Springfield State Hospital. She was a member at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Westminster. She was a den mother for pack 733 of Winfield. She enjoyed crafts and dancing, and her church was an important part of her life.
Surviving are sons Zoland Z. "Skip" Zile III, of Bethlehem, Pa., and Steven A. Zile and wife Rhonda, of Taylorsville; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Schwartz, chaplain from Carroll Lutheran Village, officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery
