G. Elaine Stultz, age 68, of Taneytown, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, surrounded by her family. Born May 17, 1948 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Howard Stultz Sr. and Erma LaRue Harman Stultz. Elaine was a 1966 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. She was employed in retail management and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. Surviving are 2 daughters, Cheryl Warner-Lim and husband Alex of Havre de Grace; Lori Knights and husband Joseph of Taneytown; 2 grandsons, Bradley Michael Wittbecker and Nickolaus Wayne Knights; a sister, Karen Nadine Stultz of Taneytown; a brother, William H. Stultz Jr. of Cape Coral, FL and a niece and nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, James M. Stultz in 2002. A funeral service will be held at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor on Friday, May 20, at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Frank Warner, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 19 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157 or to The Pink Fund, P.O. Box 603, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48303 (www.pinkfund.org).

I only knew you for such a short time but enjoyed getting to know you. You were such a fighter and such a loving grandmother to your grandsons. You are safely home now and I know you will be watching over them.
