On November 25, 2014 Harold "Hal" Lewis Shaffer of Finksburg, MD, formerly of Savage, MD died at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. Hal was the beloved husband of Glenda F. Shaffer; devoted father of Todd A. Shaffer and his wife Melissa and Craig M. Shaffer and his wife Melissa; cherished grandfather of McKenna, Carter, Greyson, Alena, Keirra, Tristan and Sawyer. Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 S off Rt 100) on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 10:00-11:00am where a funeral service will be held in the Kaufman Vermillion Chapel at 11:00am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made in Hal's name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, Maryland 21157-5629.
