Irvin Richard "Dutch" Schultz, 86, formerly of Westminster passed away on July, 12, 2016 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy. Dutch was born April 17, 1930 in Baltimore and was the son of the late Richard Paul and Anna Caroline Weckesser Schultz. He was the husband of his former wife Ruth Schultz. Dutch was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. A truck driver for both A&P for 28 years and worked for Liquid Carbonica for over 7 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed motorcycles and going to Baugher's and McDonald's to eat. Surviving are his daughter Carolyn Kilby of Westminster and sons, Karl Schultz of Hanover, Pa., Wayne Schultz of Brunswick and Erich Schultz of Westminster; grandchildren Richard J. Schultz, Jessica L. Halt, Justius Schultz, Forest Schultz and Curtis Schultz; and two great-grandchildren Savanna Wetzel and Charlee Bish; and half brother Richard Paul Schultz, Jr of Finksburg. He was predeceased by son Richard "Dutch" Schultz. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home , 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be at Meadow Branch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, Md. 21157 to help defray funeral expenses.
