Linda, Steve, and Families...
Winter hath brought great joy AND great sorrow to you and your family...
-- No one knew that more than Uncle John.
December brought him happy circumstance by way of marriage and the impending arrival of two beloved children.
December also harkened painful disposition, when heartlessly "stealing away" the one great love of his life.
So, at this heavy-hearted chapter of our lives, let us not be discouraged. Instead, let our spirits rejoice in having shared in the full, happy, and contented lives that both Aunt Euny and Uncle John shared in their time on this earth -- a truly inspirational and eternal love story commencing, ending, and now "renewed" amidst the frosty nature and emotional ambivalence of winter.
We celebrate and give thanks for the life of JOHN LELIAN HOPE. Thank you, Lord for blessing us with the gift of having known him, loved him, and learned from his quiet, gentle spirit. His time on this earth will not be forgotten.
- "His past was behind him; his future was of little concern. He moved forward in life at his own speed - in his own manner - with those who loved him most." -JB
With love, prayers, and concern...
