Mary Louise Drechsler, 88, of Westminster, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at home.
Born Aug. 14, 1924, in Woodsboro, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Mary Josephine Cutshall Smith. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Drechsler Jr., who died in 1999.
She grew up in St. John's United Church of Christ in Woodsboro, and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Westminster. Her family owned Rosebud Perfume Company out of Woodsboro.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and John E. Zentz Jr., of Finksburg; son and daughter-in-law Victor E. and Anne S. Drechsler, of Westminster; a sister, Audrey L. Binkley, of Indianapolis; grandchildren John E. Zentz III and wife Megan, Jacob E. Zentz and wife Olivia, T. Andrew Drechsler and Allie Drechsler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings George W. Smith, Robert L. Smith and Jeanne Cutshall Smith.
A private graveside service will be held in Westminster Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to to a charity of your choice.

The Woodsboro Bank has sent a memorial donation to St Johns UCC, Woodsboro. We thank her family for giving the opportunity to remember our little church. There are no doubt some in our congregation who remember Mary and we will remember her in our memorial record. We extend Christian sympathy to your family.
