Kelly was my life, my love, my friend, my everything. She died peacefully Friday, August 29, 2014 at our home in Emmitsburg, age 33, the loving wife of John Michael Hale and loving mother of Brendan and Washington. Kelly was born November 23, 1980 to Glenn and Karen Haines of Taneytown. She graduated from Francis Scott Key in 1998, Bridgewater College in 2002, and received her Master's Degree from Mount St. Mary's University. She was employed by Rager, Lehman & Houck, Carroll Hospital Center, and most recently, Legal & General America. She also served on the Community Media Center Board of Directors. Kelly, with her father, was coach of the Carroll County Poultry Judging Team for 17 years. She enjoyed kayaking, outings and vacationing with her family, road trips with her husband, and time spent with friends. She was always generous, always kind, and always beautiful in every way. Surviving in addition to her husband, children, and parents are brothers, Steven & Brian, and grandparents, Fern & Louise Haines, and David & Betty Bowman. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Tom's Creek United Methodist Church, 16252 Tom's Creek Church Road, Emmitsburg, MD, where Kelly was a long-time member. To the entire family, my thoughts and prayers go out for you. So hard to believe that she's now with God. It was a pleasure having her in Sunday School. She made a beautiful flower girl in our wedding. You'll always be with me in spirit.
