James C. "Chet" Knights, Jr., USMC Retired, of Jackson, MO and formerly of York Springs, PA passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Born November 7, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James C. Knights, Sr. and Anna Ruth Daily. He was the husband of Donna Randall Knights, his wife of 26 years. He was a life member of the Hanover American Legion and a member of Togetherweserved.com USMC. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, James C. (Debbie) Knights, III of Taneytown, MD, Joseph W. (Lori) Knights of Taneytown, MD; brother, Gary Knights; sisters, Beverly Gill and Pat Meekins, all of Westminster, MD. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2015, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Eline Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be in Manchester Baptist Cemetery.
