Louis Ray Randolph, 74, of Bethelridge passed away Thursday, Feb.19, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Elmwood Place, Ohio on April 16, 1940, the son of the late Boyd Louis Randolph and Amy Hughes Randolph Haste. He was raised by his mother, Amy and Hobert Haste. He was a farmer and a screen print operator for Osh Kosh B'Gosh. He was a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church and was known as singing the tenor part with the Happy Travelers since 1975. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Gay Randolph of Bethelridge; a son, Boyd Louis (and Deena) Randolph of Somerset; three brothers, Ronald Dee Haste of Bethelridge, Roger Lee Haste of Somerset and William David Haste of Sparta; a sister, Darlene Haste Godbey of Bethelridge; and three grandchildren, Meghann New, Brett (and Lauren) Randolph and Andrew (and Tiffany) Randolph. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Verona Randolph and Bonita Jo Randolph; and a brother, Daniel Clay Haste. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 25) at Bethelridge United Methodist Church with Bro. Darrell Vance, Bro. Doug Stutz and Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the church. Morris and Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
