Nora Mildred Young of Murfreesboro, Tenn. died Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was 82. A native of Bradfordsville, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Cooley and Sylvia Garrett Cooley. She is survived by her husband, James Ray "Jim" Young; two sons, James Ronald Young of Pace, Fla. and Gregory Dean Young of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Kay Wiggins of Brentwood, Tenn.; a sister, Clancey Burger of Gravel Switch; grandchildren, Erica Bishop, Rhonda Freeman and Jamie Wiggins; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Freeman, Aiden Bishop and Emery Bishop. Mrs. Young attended Leanna Church of Christ and was a retail sales associate with Castner Knotts and Dillards until her retirement. Nora Mildred Cooley and James Ray Young were the first couple to be married in the state of Indiana in 1951. The wedding was held in Jeffersonville, Ind. Services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville on Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m.
