Kevin, we are sorry for your loss. May Amy's memory be eternal.

I'm profoundly saddened to have lost such a valuable colleague and to know that students have lost such a valuable mentor and advocate. I'm afraid this sounds like a cliche but Amy made Penn State a better place simply by her presence. She will be missed.

We are sad to hear of Amy's passing, although we did not know her, we knew her husband well as we both worked with him in the old Murata days. He was a super person as well so they must have been well matched. How sad to lose someone so early in life. She seemed like a person who loved life! Our sympathies to the Dietz family.

I met Amy in the late 1990s while a student at Penn State. Even as an administrative assistant in the Labor Studies program, she had a love for the Dept. that fueled my interest and brought me to where I am today as a labor relations attorney. Amy and I developed a friendship which meant a lot to me as a college student away from home for the first time, coming into my own. That friendship continued until her death. She truly was an amazing person who inspired me on many different levels. I can't reflect on my college years without thinking of her. Kevin, Nick and Julie, please know how much Amy was loved by the Penn State community and particularly the close knit Labor Studies and Employment Relations School.

I still remember puppet shows in the basement and Breyer horses on her shelf growing up and that infectious little laugh. She has always been a special person who thoughtfully touched all the many lives she encountered! God certainly Blessed all those who had the privalige of spending time with Amy. She is certainly appreciated and missed simultaneously!

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I had Amy as an instructor for a few courses and it was her love of the discipline that encouraged me to pursue LER as a minor and to continue on to a graduate program. She was a personal inspiration to me and I will treasure the memories I have.

I came to know Amy while working at Penn State. She was always a marvelous collaborator and colleague. So too she provided sage wisdom about life and health. I was stunned to learn of Amy's passing and share my deepest condolences, she will be missed.

Rest In Peace wonderful Amy. Your kind words will stick with me for years to come. Your support and blind faith on what I was capable of doing will never leave me.

I'm so very sorry to hear this sad news. Amy and I knew each other very well when I lived in State College many years ago. She was a fantastic person who left this world much too soon.
