Lulu (Toot) Ida Rose Shawver September 30, 1930 March 27, 2018 Lulu "Toot" Ida Rose Shawver, 87, of Coburn, passed away on March 27, 2018. A loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she joins her husband Cloyd Shawver in Heaven. Lulu was born on September 30, 1930, the youngest in her family. She and Cloyd began their life together in 1948. They were married 63 years before his passing in 2011. She is survived by her seven children, Hilda Haubrick, Cloyd Jr. (Margaret), James (Marlene), Vivian (Martin Myers), Leroy (Judy), Samuel, and Mary (Jay Creeger), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. This summer her 100th descendent will be born. Lulu devoted her life to working on the farm alongside her husband and raising children, not just her own but any that needed love and comfort. Being surrounded by children throughout her life brought her (and Cloyd) immense joy. She was known as Gram to all who came to see her and treated everyone with benevolence, putting their needs above her own. Her generous spirit lives on in the hearts of her family that spent years watching her live a selfless, Christian life. She enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel music. Known for her powerful prayers and excellent yodeling skills, she epitomized what it means to be a compassionate friend, a relentless believer, a steadfast wife, and a selfless mother and grandmother. Lulu was truly a Godly woman of strength. She will be deeply missed by many but knowing that she is celebrating in Heaven with her family that preceded her will comfort us all. Lulu was preceded in death by her husband Cloyd Shawver; baby girl Shawver; grandson Lucas Shawver; and great grandson Trevor Wilson Fetterolf.
