Fayne M. (Jackson) Abel May 25, 1937 January 22, 2018 Fayne M. (Jackson) Abel, 80, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Juniper Village in State College. She was the wife of the late Elton R. Abel. A memorial service for Mrs. Abel will be held later in the spring. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on May 25, 1937, in Jacobus, she was a daughter of the late Paul H. and Emma R. (Sowers) Jackson. Fayne was an accounting clerk from 1975-1992, at Penn State University. Mrs. Abel was a member of Yorkshire U.M.C. Fayne was also a member of the Penn State Wrestling Club and Nittany Lion Club. She loved all sporting events and was especially a fan of Penn State football and Penn State wrestling. Fayne also enjoyed traveling and vacationing to the Outer Banks. Mrs. Abel is survived by one son, Robin Abel and wife, Joyce, of Warriors Mark; two daughters, Lori Wise and husband, Daniel, of York and Julie Caiola and husband, Anthony, of Robbinsville, N.J.; nine grandchildren, Nicole Wiefling and husband, Matt, of Coraopolis, Graham Abel and wife, Lauren, of Waterford, Mich., Sandra Abel, of Hagerstown, Md., Sean Abel, of Denver, Colo., Shanna Wise, of York, Noah Wise, of York, Brali Wise, of York, Marc Caiola, of Robbinsville and Leah Caiola, of Robbinsville; three great grandchildren, Teagan Wiefling, Iris Wiefling and Finn Abel; one brother, Wayne Jackson and wife, Kathy, of Brookeville; and one sister, June Ruth and husband, George, of York. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angel Caiola.
