Delphina (Phina) Jaworski March 7, 1928 February 20, 2018 Delphina "Phina" Jaworski, 89, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on March 7, 1928, in Spring Mills, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Maria (Moser) Scitti. She was married to her beloved husband, Robert Jaworski, who preceded her in death in 2003. Delphina was a graduate of Gregg Township High School. She went on to work as an inspector for C-Core until her retirement. She is survived by two children, Dennis Jaworski (LuAnn), of Bellefonte and Sandra Jaworski, of Bellefonte; two grandchildren, Robert Dennis (Jennifer), of Homer City, and Alissa Jaworski, of Bellefonte; four great-grandchildren, Lynn, James, Kyla, and Avery. Also surviving is one sister, Ethel Green (Nun), of Spring Mills; and one brother, Pacific Scitti (JoAnn), of Aaronsburg. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by four sisters, Esther, Teresa, Vera, and Mary; and one brother, Ocean. Delphina was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bellefonte. She loved pets. There will be a public viewing on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 10-11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 216 McAllister Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Will Osman officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Meyer Cemetery in Bellefonte. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a pet rescue of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wetzlerfuneralhome.com.
