Ronald (Red) Thomas Swartz November 25, 1941 February 9, 2018 Ronald "Red" Thomas Swartz, of Madison-burg, died on February 9, 2018. Born on November 25, 1941, in Snow Shoe, he was the son of the late James and Carrie Swartz, of Snow Shoe. He was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area. He married Peggy A. Bullock (Swartz) in 1963. He is survived by three children, Franklin T. Swartz, of Madisonburg, Peggy L. Warner (James), of Madison-burg, and Scott E. Swartz (Jamie), of Aaronsburg; seven grandchildren, Lukas, Jared, Katlan, Matthew, Maverick, Caleb, and Cheyenne; and four great-grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Lena and Nolyn. His passions were holding the latest newborn baby in the family, hunting with his family, teaching everyone how to shoot a gun, traveling, and telling jokes. He was a charter bus driver for Fullington Bus Co., where he worked for over 30 years. Friends will be received on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wetzlerfuneralhome.com.

I just found out about Red's passing. The old Bulkmatic gang sure had some fun times. He will surely be missed. He and Loren can keep each other company now. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Swartz family, So sorry to hear the passing of Red. Years ago when my kids where in the Bellefonte Band, he would be driving one of the buses. He was so well liked. Prayers to your family.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Red. I have fond memories of him when I was younger. He made a trip to the Poconos Raceway with Fullington a lot of fun. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
