Rita A. Klinger August 21,1935 January 25, 2018 Rita A. Klinger died peacefully in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the age of 82 after bravely battling cancer. Rita is survived by her sons Charles W. (Billy) Klinger, Jr. (Debra) and Michael S. Klinger, of Chambersburg; her brother Joseph Worrick (Loretta), of Bellefonte; her sister-in-law Marlene Worrick, of Denver, Colo.; granddaughters Kelly Ronk, of Spring Mills, and Tammy Klinger, of Pottstown; grandsons Michael Klinger (Jessica), of North East, Md., Zane Mesmer, of Bellefonte, Joey Klinger, of Potters Mills, and Billy Ziders, of Bellefonte; nine great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews from around the country plus many friends, all of whom brought great joy in her life. Mark Worrick, USAF, of Denver, Colo., and a brother Robert Worrick, of San Antonio Texas. Rita was born in Pleasant Gap on August 21, 1935, to Mark and Nancy (DeLallo) Worrick. She attended St. John's Catholic School and graduated from Bellefonte Area High School in 1953. In 1955, she married Charles W. Klinger, Sr., who preceded her in death. They welcomed two sons Charles W. Klinger, Jr. and Michael S. Klinger. She was a loving and caring mother. She lived and worked in Connecticut for a short time before returning to Bellefonte. She worked for The Film Lab and then Cerro Metal Products for 25 years. Upon retirement she was employed seasonally at Skills, where she enjoyed caring for and creating happy memories for her clients. When she was not in Bellefonte, she was enjoying retirement life in Ormond Beach, Fla. She was an avid reader, accomplished artist, loved the serenity of the beach, enjoyed traveling and loved all her family and friends even more. She simply enjoyed life and all it had to offer her and others. She was the most giving, kind, happy, fair and caring individual who would drop whatever she was doing to help someone else. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, March 23, 2018, at her parish St. John's Catholic Church, Bellefonte, at 10:00 a.m. Father George will officiate the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to St. John's Catholic School in Bellefonte.

We have looked for Rita over the years especially when we lived n FL. My husband Charles Beck mentioned her last night so I looked her up n we were shocked to see an obituary. We will never forget the best spaghetti dinners she made when we would visit. Dad Klinger was sure a character. We love you mom Rita. RIP
