Sad to hear of Kathleen's passing. She was an important part of the York HS speech competitions while I was coach in the 70's. She was one of the most dependable and enthusiastic members of the team. My prayers go out to Kevin and Daniel. May happy memories of Kathleen be a comfort at this time. - Marlene Atkins

Kevin and Daniel: I am so saddened to hear of Kathleen's passing. I knew her as "Debbie's Little Sister" when Deborah and I were roommates at Illinois Wesleyan University. I can see the two of them right now, bright eyes shining, long dark tresses swaying as they laugh and laugh and laugh over a shared memory of the brothers they both treasured and loved. I know that their love for you didn't grow less but more over the decades since that time. Thinking of you. Katherine (akakathyjames)

So very sad to hear of Kathleen's passing. Kathleen and I corresponded for about 55 years starting out as school girl pen pals and kept in touch ever since. I live in Australia and was lucky enough to meet her personally in 2010 when my husband and I went to Chicago. I always hoped she would be able to come here one day. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies Daniel and Kevin. Kathleen always wrote of you fondly.
