Well, it's been almost four years since this great man of God went home to be with the Lord. Last Friday, June 23, was his 98th birthday, and I really enjoyed the virtual birthday celebration that was provided by his beloved Fellowship Church: Tapes of his What a Fellowship Hour telecasts were played all day long. What a blessing to hear that wonderful choir and his gospel messages again! Well, I hope and pray that Rev. Evans knows just how much he is still missed and loved.

TROY ESTES R.I.P AMEN

I still miss Rev. Evans. Last Thursday, we enjoyed the virtual tribute to celebrate his 97th birthday, and it was truly a treat. Rev. Evans' sermons are still most relevant, and they are the kinds of sermons that one does not hear too often now. He really preached about the goodness of the Lord as he (Rev. Evans) tried to teach us how to live the Christian life to the fullest. I thank God for the privilege of being able to still watch and view this man of God via youtube. We still love...

It was exactly two years ago today when Rev. Evans went home to be with the Lord (the day before Thanksgiving 2019). How we all miss just knowing that he was there in Chicago! Well, I am so blessed to be able to view his many services, sermons, and songs via youtube! He has been and still is such a great influence in my Christian life. He was a great man of God, and I miss him. His family remains in my sincere prayers. "It Is No Secret What God Can Do."

Rev. Evans, you are greatly missed by so many of us who love you. We have just celebrated your 96th birthday, and what a celebration it was! We were blessed to view and enjoy some of your What a Fellowship Hour Broadcasts from 9 AM to 5PM last Wednesday (your birthday) via youtube. I use your music to exercise by, and it is such an inspiration to me. I hope you know how much you are loved, admired, and missed. Your music and ministry help to keep you alive in our daily lives. Thank...

Reverend Dr. Clay Evans was such a kind, wise, and innovative leader. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I have read his books and become an enthusiastic follower of his legendary and historic church, Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. He reminds me so very much of my late father: Rev. Evans truly cared about his family and his flock. He will never be forgotten.

Just love his singing and preaching he was truly a man of god
