A sad day for a great live to end. May you rest in peace Dave, for YOU were a peace-maker. May your family and friends be comforted by the wonderful memories they have, and the knowledge that you touched so many. You were a great friend. God bless.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a great officer, who always did the right thing. Always positive and always with a coffee cup in his hand. I recall the time I stopped one of his sons for speeding on RT. 68 and instead of writing a ticket, I gave his Driver's License to Dave. He insisted on tickets being issued, then he attended court and insisted the Judge not give any special treatment for the violation. It was an incredible example of proper parenting, which I'm sure had an impact on his son.
"Go Ahead" and rest in peace "Howdy", you will be missed.

We are very saddened by the loss of your beloved David. He was one of Northbrook's finest and a good friend and mentor to our family as well as a good friend and helper to our Congregation Beth Shalom.
We have fond memories of shared fun times at GBN Soccer games as well as parking lot gatherings. May you find comfort in good memories and May time help to ease the pain of your loss. We will miss him!
With our sincere and heartfelt sympathy,
Sheryl and Fred Katzenstein
