Dear Larry and family,
My heart and much sympathy goes out to you in your great loss.
I knew Davida from a weekly painting and drawing group in Chicago and just found out about her passing this past week. . Davida was a wonderful artist with a great sense of humor and a witty conversationalist too. I had hoped to get up to Wisconsin to visit her in her newer location. I hope you will have many loving memories of her to carry you forward.
Fondly,
Caryl Carlsen , Evanston, IL

Larry and family: I just found out this afternoon of Davida's passing. Shock and sadness. Davida and I were a part of a drawing group for many years, until she and Larry moved to Green Bay area and the group eventually disbanded. We had spoken after the move and I had hoped to get up that way to visit, but never could. Her artistic skill and passion was to be admired. I am so sorry for your loss and hope this condolence reaches you, although we are now in the first day of 2018.

I wanted to add this photo of Davida's artwork but, unless you have seen it in person, this will be poor substitute. Davida went back to school later in life to get her MFA and received awards for her extraordinary watercolor techniques. I will always remember her artistic passion and talent.

Vida and I (along with countless others) spent some wonderful weeks painting with OCC in Jacksonport, WI. She was a good person, an accomplished artist and teacher.
