Lauren,

I was privileged to work for and learn from your Mom when I was her student aid from 1965-67. She was my mentor and my friend. She coached me, gave me advice, and has become my role model in my mind thru the years. Her intelligence, warmth, wit and spunk made me look forward to the hours I spent in at the Admin building during those first years when UIC (Circle Campus, back then!) was under construction. She was so proud of YOU! I still see that wonderful, warm smile in the picture.

May her Memory be for a Blessing!

I learned that Jimmy, you, and the family were most precious to her, as I know she was to you. In deep sympathy, I am

My condolences to the family. I worked with Delores for several years at the UIC Admissions Office. She was a great supervisor and teacher. I consider her my mentor and learned so much from her. Above all, I remember her as a kind, caring person.
