Hearing about the early passing of this most generous man saddens me to think that they don't make good guys like that anymore.

I'm privileged to have known Dennis, and to have watched the good things that he did for others over the years. He may only have had one "blood" son, but I'd be willing to wager that he was a father figure to hundreds of boys in the St. Philomena neighborhood.

My sincerest condolences to you Holly, Jim, Dennise, and Bonnie; as well as to your children and other family members. If others miss him this much, I know your hearts are breaking. Good bless you guys.

Holly,

My wishes to you weren't showing up, so I reentered them. Sorry for the triplicates.
Thinking of you all evening and will be praying and thinking of you tomorrow.

Love, love, Mary Lou

Holly, I am so sorry and shocked to hear about Dennis. I am so glad we all got to see each other at our reunion. I will always remember Dennis telling the funniest joke about the man and his martini. I know you two had a good and happy marriage and that you have wonderful children to support you through these hard times. I wish I lived closer so I could attend the service tonight and tomorrow but please know that you and Dennis and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Karen

Oh Holly, How sad and surprised I was to hear about Dennis. You had a long life together and have such a wonderful family to show for it.

I was so happy to see you both and the two little "detectives" at the reunion last fall. Dennis was at the other end of the table so I didn't get a long visit, but he was happy and in good spirits. I was happy to visit and give him a hug.

Sending prayers and warm wishes to you and your family. May God's comfort be with you all now and in the days to come.

xo Love, Mary Lou
