I remember her as a teacher at Mary Seat of Wisdom. As with most of the teachers at Mary Seat of Wisdom they were all very good and they were very diligent in teaching us children. I remember Mrs. Burke being a very compassionate and loving teacher

I remember Diane very clearly. She was a classmate and friend in grade school (Roosevelt) and middle school (Lincoln) in Park Ridge, and at Maine Township High School in Des Plaines. She was the first girl I ever kissed. I think we were about 10 and ice skating together at South Park. I remember Diane as a smart, positive, engaging, friendly and genuinely sweet young woman, always caring for others. I'm sure she was a marvelous teacher. Her passing takes a chunk out of me; I mourn her. God's blessings to all who knew Diane.

I am so very sorry for those who loved Diane. I so enjoyed every time I taught music in her classroom and later when she brought her kindergarten students to the music room at Washington. She was a sweet, positive woman who truly loved people and was always so kind to me. She will be missed. With love, Carol Wilson
