Donald Stange was a member of the 1950 Carthage, Mo. Cubs of the Kansas-Oklahoma-Missouri league. Over the years of writing about that era I attempted to contact him without success. My efforts as the historian for the league have gone on for over 20 years. I was interested in locating Donald for I was the Carthage batboy and we shared the same birth date. My belated condolences go out to the family.

Irene, I did not know of Don's passing until today,12/1. I had no idea that he was that ill. I'm so sorry that I wasn't at his funeral and visitation. I have fond memories of him and especially the honor of playing as his partner in the Mixed Invitational. I will remember him in my prayers. I feel awful that I didn't know at the time.

Love, Frankie

Irene, Barbara, Bob and Debby,
We are so sorry to hear of Don's passing. A long time friend, neighbor, golf buddy and Santa. We will miss him for sure, and cherish our memories. Please know we are sorry not to be home to share this time with you as we are in Arizona.
May time and prayer help heal your hearts.

LOVE,
Jim and Joyce
