The Strasser Family,

Your dad was a great guy and a really good referee. Of course with you boys, and of course Joanie, he officiated many games within in the house as well as those on the court. Don and Mary, like my parents, taught us kids great values and morals, it is our responsibility to pass those great attributes on to our children and grandchildren. Don, Joan, Kevin,Sean, ands the two youngest sons I offer my sincere condolences on the passin g of your father on behalf of the Doyle family. Don Sr. was a good man.

My condolences to the Strasser Family. By all accounts Don had a good long life filled with family and friends and as a coach had a lasting impact on many people, myself included. Don was my Delivery Manager (coach) and showed me the importance of being firm and fair and in his unique way friendly. Don never missed a coaching opportunity. His approach was always to help the individual improve and thereby improve the team. Later in my career I am sure I got the fair and firm part right but with the nickname Colonel Klink I a pretty sure I missed the friendly on occasion. My failure was not due to coaching because Don was the BESThands down!

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving God promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. Isaiah 40:29, 41:10,13*
