Bob Moore was a close friend and business partner who entrusted the succession of his well established insurance agency to my family business: Hill and Stone Insurance Agency. We both attended Lake Forest High School and shared many laughs and good times with one another. He was a genuine gentleman who touched the lives of many and made them better. I particularly loved his loyalty, wit, and humor. I will remember him fondly the rest of my life and offer heartfelt condolences to his family.

My first contact with Bob was through our membership in the then Lake Forest Rotary Club, in the 1980's. I recognized in him a caring, gentle person with a good sense of humor. We shared a love for the out-of-doors, especially as centered on Wisconsin. We have enjoying stayed in touch over the years, extending through the last ten years when he so bravely was fighting serious health issues. Betsy joins me in sending our sympathy to Ginny and the family.
