Anna Marie Bolton, nee Boucher, age 83, of Lombard. Born February 20th, 1934 in Rockville Township, second child of Eugene and Myrtle (Kahn) Boucher. After obtaining her R.N. degree from Silver Cross Hospital School of Nursing in Joliet, IL, she worked at Silver Cross until her marriage February 11th, 1955 to Joliet resident William Lewis Bolton (1933 - 1986) at Newport, Rhode Island, where Bill was serving in the U.S. Navy. Anna continued her nursing career when her children were school age. Several years after her husband's death, Anna reunited with her former love Robert Bell, of Miami, FL. Her battle with cancer lasted from fall of 2016 until September 2017, when she ceased further treatment. Anna was a matriarch, a fierce champion of her children. Anna passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 21st, 2017. Anna is survived by her companion, Robert Bell, devoted children Mary, Daniel and Katherine Heuer (companion Ron McCollum), sister Mary (Michael) O'Brien, sister-in-law Neila, grandchildren Evan and Claire Heuer, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brother Arthur, son-in-law Brian Heuer, and niece Kerry O'Brien. Anna had many friends in the nursing community. She will be missed by her Silver Cross and MacNeal colleagues. The family is eternally grateful for the care and compassion provided by her physicians, especially Dr. Rong Tu, Dr. Hollis Walker, and the staff of JourneyCare Hospice Services. Private services were held. Prior to her death Anna requested donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950 (www.st.jude.org), in lieu of flowers.
