I met Dr T. when we were with a Company ( Amega ) Just loved her zest for life the moment we met, and it was always so nice to see her at company events. As I got to know this special woman obetter when we traveled to Singapore she got a place in my heart. She was up for anything, truly amazing at her age. We went to the zoo in Singapore, on a tiger safari in the Philippines, and many other adventures on that trip with Youcef, Aya and my two daughters ( Lenni-Jane and Marlo ) I felt my responsibility was to look after her ( I had met her daughter in San Diego when she was picking her up from a gathering we were at, and I mentioned I was also going on the trip and would look after her ). but she very seldom needed or wanted that - she was a trooper. On the boat cruise we shared a cabin with Dr Tobias, my girls on the bunk, Dr T. on the small bed and I slept on the floor ( It was tight quarters) but a lot of fun. The first night set the tone for my girls when in the morning Dr Tobias had gotten up and went for breakfast they ask me if she was okay. They said in the middle of the night they could kind of see her in the dark moving her arms, shaking her legs, it was like she was pretending to be going for a walk. I told them, look at her age, all good at what ever she does to keep herself happy and healthy From Day 1 they knew she was a special person and they had been blessed to get to know her. We send our thank you to her family for sharing her with us. Catherine, Lenni-Jane and Marlo Dick.

Dr. T ... A life well spent. I worked with Dr. T for a few years at THI. I always admired her strength, talent, knowledge, and how she used her personal health issues to enrich the lives of others. I often wondered why she hadn't won a nobel prize or at least been on the cover of National Geographic. Although her work was important, her decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior carries eternal value. While this remarkable woman will be greatly missed, she is now basking in the glory of our Father. 1 Corinthians 2:9 No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him.

I have many happy memories with Dr.Tobias. We traveled well together, and I met a lot of wonderful people that I would not have otherwise known, and developed many rewarding friendships as a result. We traveled to England, Europe, Spain, Portugal and Fatima.where we both received many Papal-blessed articles. We visited the home where the (3) Fatima children lived, and brought back olive leaves from the olive trees where the apparition took place. We also traveled several times to Hawaii for Sunrider conventions and shared condos in Kona. She became friends with my family and brother Fr. Don, a Benedictine monk at St. John;s Abbey in MN.who traveled with us. Her last phone call to me she asked to have Fr. Don and his monk friends pray for her, which of course they did. While in Kona, she checked out Real-Estate and returned to our condo with a bottle of champagne. Then she took me food shopping to plan for a party. Everything I put into the cart, she'd take out and lecture me on the need to eat healthier. As a result, I now read labels and make better choices. How I met Dr. Tobias is a truly amazing event. In Oct. 1988, I had a back injury that required a combination of meds that I had a serious drug reaction from that put me in ICU for over a month and wasn't expected to survive. One of my Sunrider business friends heard Dr. T's lecture on Alternative healthcare, and suggested I travel to Chicago to see if Dr. T could help me. I didn't think I'd survive the 5-hr. trip, and prayed all the way. Needless to say, Dr.T. truly saved my life and we became close friends for life. She'd call me for prayer, and I'd call her for health advice. My sincere condolences to Saul, Lisa, and Joey for the loss of their dear mother who will be missed by them and all who knew and loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. May you find comfort with many happy memories.Time to celebrate your mother's life lived fully. With God's special love and blessings.

My family's deepest condolences to the entire family of Dr. Tobias. She was a very kind and beautiful person, full of life and a very caring person. She was a very good friend of my family, as well as her extended Bariatric family. She was one of the greatest in the Bariatric community, along with many others before her. As a young man, new in the pharmaceutical business, I was impressed with the fact all of her male colleagues, at the time, completely respected her for her influential accomplishments in her practice. May god bless her entire family.
