I only just now learned of Dr. Loftus' passing. He saved my life 50 years ago. I am so saddened by this news, May he Rest In Peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. My father, John Patrick Tracy (Treacy) was a cousin who raised his family in Elk Grove. I remember Dad taking us to the great parties at his Aunt Marie's home where there were so many cousins. I also remember when Father Robert had family over at Queen of the Rosary rectory in Elk Grove. It was something special to be with my Dad and his cousins. Their stories and laughter were priceless.

Mary Clare and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Been a long time since our connections at Mercy, and then, at St. John of the Cross.
