Dear Judy and Family,

I worked with Harriet at Hanson Park for a number of years,
and she was one person who many in the school came to
talk to during their breaks, and share their problems with, including myself.

She was very interested in people and had a calming effect, and a very good listener. Many of the children were also drawn to her.
She showed concern and interest, and would sometimes buy
them gifts to make them feel special.
After retiring, I would sometimes stop by on my way home
from work an she would welcome me with a glass of wine
and a chat.
She was a gracious and welcoming person, up to the very end.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Please accept my deepest condolences. May your memories warm your heart and bring a smile to your face in time. My hope is that God will give you the strength and power you need to cope with the loss of someone so special to you. Isaiah 40:29

Dear Judy and Family,
What a great woman Harriet was to every one who met her! We had a wonderful visit with your mom on Oct. 27. She greeted us when we came through the door to visit with a smile on her face and an upbeat attitude. She and Paul recalled the days of Hanson Park's PT department and the children they cared for. We shared a number of laughs about the old times, and even reflected on a particular student who frequently said, "Harriet, I swallowed a piano!" She was anticipating her leaving to be with Jesus and John. We prayed with her before we left that day and she knew we would not see each other again this side of heaven. She was a remarkable woman and loved her family dearly as she always spoke about them at work and every time we came to visit. She was fun to be around and will be missed. We are so sorry for your loss and pray that your grief be short and the memory of your wonderful mother be filled with love and joy.
Most Sincerely,
Paul and Judy Berg
