Beautiful family sentiments have already been left here, so I'll mention other aspects of this gentleman's life. Jim was the most even-tempered man I ever knew, totally unflappable. He really enjoyed using his brain, an inveterate reader, which explains why he and wife Carol traveled the world as part of the Dickens Society. Like his brother-in-law Robert, he liked to tinker and make things as well, using these skills in employment. Previously he taught Physics at a Catholic high school. We will all miss you, Uncle Jim, and your quiet ways.

Carol,
I just heard this morning of Jim's passing. My heart is breaking for you and your family. Those of us at the Y are here to support and love you. You are not alone.
Love,
