Jim, I will remember the good times we had watching Bears games and reminiscing about Coach Ditka and the Super Bowl team. Great memories hanging out and watching a bunch of Cubs and Hawks games at your favorite pub. Jim was a great friend to everyone.

Stro was the best friend one could have. We spent almost everyday together from Freshman Year at New Trier until college. Stayed in touch all through college, later were together the night I met my wife Carole of 43 years. Stood up for me at my wedding and shared hours of talks about sports, politics and family over the years.

I know he loved and was very proud of his 3 beautiful girls. Loved to see them in their sports and activities.

He had that laugh that made you feel special and if you met him only once, you know what I mean

He will be missed by all and will always be a special part of my life.
