Jean was a dear friend and a wonderful example to me. We shared special moments visiting people when we participated in First Presbyterian's group, "Ambassadors for Christ." She was such a caring and loving person. Special memories include helping a Cambodian family get settled in Chicago and getting to know them. We had fun taking some of them to the botanical gardens. We shared many phone calls over the years, since I moved to Michigan. I remember her with much love.

Jean and I shared walks and talks in a long-ago yesterday, and I always found new understanding of some of my life's complex problems from her wise and loving counsel. She was a wonderful friend... and a great bowling buddy!! Her gracious Christian witness is my enduring member of this precious lady.

My mom told me this week that Jean always wrote letters and made beautiful watercolor cards that she gave to her. Mom has them stored in a box. Such a good friend! She will be missed. Deb for Char Parry

God has given us a life span of 70 and 80 years if we are strong. May you celebrate a life well lived and loved by many. Psalms 90:10
