What can I say about this beloved teacher, mother and all around marvelous person that others haven't already said. She was the very BEST teacher I had at Dublin High School and I will remember her greatness as a teacher until the day I die, just fantastic! R. I. P. dear lady, and know that there are literally thousands of people out there that benefited from your knowledge and skill as a superb teacher and spell-binding story teller!

Ms. Aumuller absolutely changed my life when I was at Palatine Hight School in Illinois (class of 1965). Because I came from a poor family, she urged me to go to college by taking out student loans. She encouraged my writing and fostered my future career as a journalist and author. I would not have had the life I lived without her vision and moral support. I see that she has made a difference in the lives of many other students such as myself. My only regret is that I did not try to seek her out before now to tell her how much her mentorship meant to me.

I had the honor of knowing Jean as a colleague and as a teacher. We served on committees together and my three children were privileged to have her as their teacher, two of them for two years. She was a master teacher and made a lifelong impression on them. I'm so thankful to her. The world has lost a wonderful lady. May she Rest In Peace.

Jean was so helpful to me as a new sophomore English teacher at Dublin High School when she was teaching junior English. Years later, when I was member of the Ohio State Board of Education, she agreed to serve on the committee that wrote the state's first language arts curriculum and contributed a great deal to that effort.

I do hope that it is of some comfort to learn how many lives Jean touched and how many others share your loss.
