Joe Teborek Passed away on Sunday October 28, 2018 in his home. He was 86. He died of coronary artery disease and dementia. Memorial services will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Sierra Memorial Lawn in Nevada City, with a reception at their home in Lake Wildwood to follow. Joe was born on Feburary 9th, 1932 in Oak Park, Illinois to Joseph Edgar and Sylvia Teborek. He grew-up in Cicero, IL and went to Morton High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky with a BS in Industrial Arts and was involved in R.O.T.C. After college he went in the Air Force for 12 years. Married Arlene Mowry in 1959 and had Matthew in 1964. After the Air Force he was hired by American Airlines and was based in Boston. In 1980 he married Mary Greene and they moved to Chicago and had son Michael in 1982. Joe was a hard worker and in 1986 he checked out as a Captain with American Airlines. He loved his job in the Airlines. After he retired he ran a mail room for the sisters at Wheaton, IL and he enjoyed the sisters too. Joe was charming, outgoing, bright, organized, handsome, and witty. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe Edgar and Sylvia Teborek; Grandmother Mary Hubeny; Uncle Rudy; Sister Charlotte Votiva & Cy Votiva; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Foothills, One Source, or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. He was survived by Ex-Wife Arlene Mowry of Hampton, New Hampshire; Wife Mary G. Teborek of Penn Valley, California; Sons Matthew Teborek of Hampton, New Hampshire and Michael Teborek of Penn Valley, California.
