So sorry to hear of Mr. Little's passing.Although I never got to meet him in person I've tried to read everything he wrote and listen to everything he would speak about. His knowledge of Chicago and the Fire Department was truly incredible.I'm sure that anyone who spent time with him came away richer for the experience.
My condolences to your family and to his many friends. His memory will live on with me through his books and videos.
Respectfully,
Brian McNamara

Dear Ken
What a wonderful send off you had! Your children planned it all and it was perfect.
How I will miss all the fun we had going to all those Estate Sales and having lunch with "our group" of bargain hunters.
I always felt you were so kind to me making me feel like I was part of your wonderful family( of course, that is, if I kept up my membership dues).
I will miss that wonderful sense of humor and all those great stories.
May God bless you Ken and may you rest in eternal Peace.

Ken was truly an amazing man! His knowledge of the CFD and the Fire Patrol was beyond belief. His input on our book on the Patrol was crucial to make sure it was accurate. He even supplied the photo used on our book cover. On my yearly visit to Chicago, I would always make time to stop by and visit him. We would sit and talk for hours about the Patrol and go through his vast collection of photos. Anytime I had a question, I always knew who to turn to and get the information I needed. I will miss our hour's long phone conversations. RIP my friend!

I had the pleasure of attending one of Ken's Chicago History series at Wright. He possessed a wealth of local knowledge that he was eager to share. I really enjoyed these talks and learned a great deal from them. Ken was an interesting teacher and a fine gentleman who will be missed. My condolences go out to his family.
