May the family experience the love and comfort from family and friends and from the Bible 2 Cor 1:2-4.

Sincerely SP

Fr Jerome was my classmate at Mundelein Seminary. He had a great and sometimes wicked sense of humor. His love of the Lord and his Church was never in doubt and although his service to the Church was tragically cut short I am sure that his prayer was always abundant and real. May he rest in peace.

What a loss to the world. One of the friendliest, brightest, most caring, humorous friends you could have. And, yes, a great imitation of Doc Mal. I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch with him over the years. Coincidentally, he lived at St. Phillip Neri Parish on the south side of Chicago. My uncle, Msgr. William Kinsella was the founding pastor of St. Phillip, where Leslie (ie., Jerome) lived at one point. what a small world. I'm so sorry I didn't keep in touch with him over the years. Looking at his picture, he's got the same smile I remember seeing daily in high school. Always the optimist, humorist, and wise beyond his years. I'll miss him and forever kick myself for not staying in touch. To his surviving brother and sister, you are in my prayers. What a loss to the world in general, and all of us who knew him.
