I was fortunate enough to work with Larry many times throughout the 80's and beyond.

Never met a kinder more gentle man than Larry. And such a talent. He made every production better for being a part of it.

The last time I saw him was at a party I hosted in Chicago in 1997. Wine, great conversation, and cashews.

I will miss him.

Larry was so generous with his time and talents. When I first started writing ad copy, Larry was among the first VO actors I ever worked with. What a pro. Then when I was looking to assemble a reel of my work, Larry generously did an introduction to the reel, using about a half a dozen or more different characters. His boat parties were legendary. Miss him. Funny voices, yes, but so much more. RIP Larry.

The 'Funny Voice Man' was far more than just a slogan. Larry was not only funny he was a genuinely nice, talented, loving, thoughtful, intelligent and talented man. It was a privilege to work with him and a greater privilege to call him a friend.

Many of us in the Voice Over industry wondered where Larry had been in the last few years. Both my late husband Wayne Juhlin and I did commercials with him and always left the studio feeling exhilarated working with such a talent. Even when he was not behind the microphone, he enjoyed telling stories and doing critters and characters. We will miss you Larry. RIP....
