As my pledge-master at Sammies at IU he was a terrific young man, very helpful to a freshman. May his memory be a blessing.

To the years we spent together at Indiana University. A leader and a great human being, Lou Mervis led by example. We last spent time together at our 50th fraternity reunion in 2006. It was a wonderful few days together. Rest in peace dear friend.

LOU....
I will always cherish the terrific memories of our time together at IU. From our pledge days in the Sammy house..building and moving into our new home....to your
Leaderish on Student Senate and Hillel..I will forever be grateful for sharing our formative years!
May flights of angels guard you to your rest!
God bless you LOU!
Sincerely always....Leo Cohen 56
