I too googled Lynn hoping to contact her and thank her for her very positive influence when I worked at the Kennedy Mental Development Clinic at Wyler Children's Hospital-U/C way back in the mid 70s. Lynn's first priority was always the children we served, especially those in the nursery who spent several weeks to months in the program. Lynn was a wonderful teacher and the perfect model for putting the children's needs first. While I don't know you, Jim, my heart goes out to you. I lost my wonderful older brother, a college professor so dedicated to his students, to dementia. Like Lynn, he too found joy in music even in the most difficult days. Wishing you peace and wonderful memories.

To Jim and family, all our thoughts on Lynn at this hard time.We are so very saddened. My dad Bill loved her and the Siegel family and her folks and grandma Rose and Herman. We still are going thru my dad Bills loss and it's so hard on me. A big hug from cousin Jack and the SIEGELS'.

I just happened to be googling Lynn Drew because I think of her often and have wanted to reach out and say hello for so long. I am so saddened by this news and am so sorry for your loss. Lynn has and always will be in my thoughts and in my heart. She was my first Social Work Supervisor at U of C in 1988 and was truly my champion. She taught me so much about children, parenting , about poverty and about opening up to learning, being an insightful observer, being a good listener and about being kind, empathic and compassionate. Lynn also taught me about passion and devotion. She was so 100 percent devoted to everyone she touched but her love and passion for her husband and daughters was behind everything she did and expressed.
I remember so many things about my time with Lynn and how it transcended that year into sharing simchas together. She was witness to my meeting my husband in the department and was so generous in her unwavering support and encouragement. She even flew to Minneapolis to be at my wedding. I hope you find comfort in your memories and always know how so incredibly proud she was of you all. I will be forever grateful for her kindness and wisdom. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
