May the love of friends and family carry you through your time of bereavement while you lean on the God of all comfort 2 Cor 1: 3 for your strength and relief.

Marybeth was a dear neighbor and friend to all of us on Cowper Ave. She was an intelligent, generous, and kind woman who was always had time for a story and a visit. She loved talking to my two daughters and remembered all the details of what they were up to. We knew we were always welcome at her house. I am grateful to have known her and all the positive influence she had on my family. We will cherish the happy memories and love that we shared.

I hold the memory of Mary Beth standing next to the PINE BLUFF RESORT SIGN.
I see her signature in the hotel register.
I know part of her spirit is on the bluff looking out over Lake Michigan

We all were enriched by knowing her

My husband, Steve and I met Mary Beth when we went over to her house in December 2010 to give her Tinker, our foster cat that she decided to adopt. She knew Tinker had medical issues and told us that she had that in common with Tinker. Right from the beginning, we knew we would be good friends with Mary Beth. She was unfailing kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed her company so much. We watched her conquer one medical problem after another with her usual grace and determination. She was a woman of faith, a bright light in the world, an animal lover who hated to see anything suffer. She added so much to our lives through her wonderful sense of humor, sense of adventure, and steadfast loyalty. We admired and loved her and her death leaves a hole in our lives.
