My condolences to the family of Nate. I am a neighbor of Nate and Theresa, and they have always been kind and gracious to me. He will be missed. Sheila Early.

I was shocked and saddened to read this about Nate, my relationship with the Silver family goes way back to when they lived on Trumbull St., Lincolnwood, Il. I will remember the fun memories of him from George St. all the way to Milwaukee Ave. Nate was a kind and loving man and took great care of his children. Rest in peace Nate, say hello to Issac, Lisa and Betty for me. I will see you all soon, my love to all of your children, Michelle, Rochelle and Joey/ Much love to all of you.

We were so very sad to see Nathan's obituary in today's Tribune (we're in Florida). It was a total shock for us. We loved your father-he was such a nice man. No matter how busy he was, he always took time to chat with us and share a laugh. We'll miss him very much.

We admired Nathan for his total devotion to his family. We're so very sorry for your loss. You have our deepest condolences.

May peace be yours to bring comfort. May you have courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. May God continue to comfort your family (Psalm 9:9,10).
