There are no words for your loss. Dr. Mathy was my touchstone for many years...I owe him for my life and can never thank him enough for his kindness. He lives on in all the lives he has ministered to over the years and stands continues to serve as a role model for those who follow in his footsteps. He was one of a kind and I will miss him but am thankful for his gift.

To Dr. Wayne Mathy's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss! Dr Mathy was the best Dr. I ever had (my Uncle Dr. Ray Nemecek asked him to see me at the age of 11) and I hold all other Physicians to his standards, nobody holds up to him! I always wanted to let him know how I felt and have been looking for him for years. Please know that I have been praying for you all since seeing a picture of all of his kids over 53 years ago. I was ther 7th child of 16 children. He has been and will be missed...
Many Blessings in Christ Jesus,

Dad - I'm so sad that you are gone. Some of my fondest child hood memories were fishing trips at Washington Island, your love for cooking, the care you gave us when we were sick. I admired your devotion to your patients, the house calls you made and the countless hours at MacNeal hospital. Your love for animals , PatSue,Charmin,Cherokee....to name a few. I know your in a better place. No more pain and suffering. You will be truly missed, I could write much more.... Love Tricia, Brent & Rachel
