I'm so sorry for your loss. Ralph was my fathers best friend. They worked together at Bell telephone for many years. And remained close until my dads death. After that I kept in touch with him in cards and phone calls. I will truly miss him and our talks. Sincerely, Dale Clark.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sorry, I was out of town and couldn't attend the services. Ralph was my second level manager when I hired on to Illinois Bell in 1965. As an African American kid just out of high school; Ralph made me feel wanted and respected. He mentored me and taught me the importance of knowledge and education. Ralph encouraged me to attend night school and welcomed me back after military service. He kept the bar raised and provided the resources to succeed. Ralph was a born leader and manager who embraced technology and change. As our paths crossed over the years; the respect this kid had for Ralph just grew and grew. I am grateful to be part of the many who are better because of Ralph.

Ralph was always so caring and giving of himself. A true mentor and friend to all he encountered never wanting or expecting anything in return. Ralph was a gift to so many and leaves a legacy of kindness and compassion and will always be remembered fondly and missed deeply. Rest well my friend.
