As much as I love hearing from my cousin Ron, the news of Bob's passing was a very sad surprise and I am sorry for this huge loss. I always loved visiting Aunt Nora and Uncle John's house; so welcoming, great food and non-stop adult conversations, but they had a yard to play for all of us kids. Wishing you all ease and comfort as you mourn this loss.

My Uncle Bob. He was always there. My Dad’s best friend. The music, the books, the parties, the conversations. He was always frank, droll in the best way and generous of heart. I will miss having him in our world, but I am lucky to have countless wonderful memories of our shared time together. My wish is that he and my Dad are together again, happy as two unsupervised clever mischievous frat brothers can be, listening to records waxing political, philosophical and completely goofy as they so often did.
I hope my love and support will help Carole, Mike, Amy, Jason and Charlie through this difficult loss.

Dear Carole, I am sitting with Bob’s death notice in my hand and am so sorry to come across this. I remember the times we had riding in the car to Fairview, the Pizza challenge at Lou Malnati’s that left Steve and Bob groaning, the visit we had after Amy was born at a party at your apartment. Bob was a great to be around. We always enjoyed being with you both. It is really odd because just the other day I was thinking of little Bobby Fox wondering what he had become. I know you and Amy and Michael have special memories and hope they will be a comfort to you all during this time. Love, Gail

Very sorry to hear of my cousin’s passing. Blessings to the family. His mother, Nora, was my father’s niece, and his grandmother, my father’s older sister, my Aunt Angelina. Wonderful people.
