Dear Marj and Family,

As you know Bob played a huge role both personally and professionally with Lee Miglin and myself. Without his guidance and leadership Miglin-Beitler would never have been able to build the monumental buildings that now stand.

I was with Bob in a special diet program when he discovered that he had cancer. His elegance in the way in which he handled the bad news and the way he continued to live his life was inspirational.

Most importantly Bob was my friend. We shared many fun memories together skiing. Always with a smile on his face and a wonderful laugh.

I just learned today from Howard Weinstein of Bob's passing and the memorial service that I missed last week. Please know my love and best wishes extend out to you and your family.

Dear Marj and Family,

My heart goes out to all of you at this time of sadness. While I didn't know Bob from all reports he was a remarkable man.

Bob will be remembered fondly by the entire Bergman golf group. No one I enjoyed playing with more. He was definitely a fighter, even when we were playing for a dollar. Sill makes me smile :) He will be missed.

He was even more than has been written in his obituary, if possible. He was also an intimate friend to all of us here at Keystone, Colorado, always smiling, never letting out about his health struggles, joking and above all a great golfing buddy---there never was a better person and I and all of us here at Keystone are so happy he was such an important part of our lives and trust where he is he will shoot nothing over a par. Love you Bob.
